THE BUSINESS architect

Kate Briefs is a powerhouse leader at the helm of several impactful organizations. Currently, she spearheads a national field program at RenUSA, orchestrating persuasive campaigns for utility-scale renewable energy projects. Kate also lends her experience to manage electoral campaigns around the country.

With a rich background in education and power shifting, Kate has left her mark on various fronts. She has collaborated with esteemed organizations such as NHYD, Keene Says Enough, Metro Nashville Community Oversight Board, SURJ, Gideon’s Army, Arc of DC, and On the Rise Collective among others.

Proudly identifying as queer, disabled, and German-American, Kate brings a unique perspective to her work. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s and Gender Studies from Keene State College and has further honed her skills studying for her M.ED in Community Development and Action from Vanderbilt University.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Kate is passionate about quality seafood and taking radical care of her health. When she’s not busy making waves in the political arena, you can find her cherishing moments with her three pit bulls or rocking her signature style in a pair of tight jeans and giant hoops.
